When are forensic medical services available? 

CDFNE staff are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across our service area. Simply report to a local emergency room. 

How much will I be charged for my forensic medical exam? 

You will NOT be charged for your exam, nor will your insurance. Both North Dakota state law and federal law prohibit charging for forensic medical exams.

 Will I be required to report to law enforcement to receive a forensic medical exam? 

No. CDFNE's services are accessible regardless of whether you decide to report your assault to law enforcement. Your information will be kept confidential unless you specifically request us to share it or if there is a legal obligation for a mandatory report.
